Tea is a must, especially when it comes to losing weight. I recommend peppermint (I find it instrumental in curbing my appetite), and in particular 'moroccan mint' tea, which is made by the 'stash' . . . more

Hi Gail, thanks for being a friend! I tell you, it is not easy keeping up with those journals. I haven't really been on Gather for awhile. Just started school last night. See you around!

Gail,
I was with you right up until the last part of your ping. The problem is there is no way to fix my problem, and medication is the only way I can function at all. Without the meds, I can't even get up and go to the bathroom without passing out, and I am constantly dizzy. I have tried to go without several times. Since I was a preemie, the sensors in my blood stream that are supposed to control heart rate and blood pressure do not work any more, so I have to take a medication to have any control over it.

Gail,
Anything that might be helpful for somebody who cannot exercise, and tends to gain even when I was physically active would be very helpful.
Thanks
Lisa
